# Appointment Library

**Audience:** Super Admin, Admin, Supervisor, Clinician\

## Purpose

Use **Appointment library** to manage the appointment types available when scheduling client appointments.

## Who uses it

* **Super Admin:** Can view, create, edit, and delete appointment types. Delete requires password confirmation and the type cannot be deleted while it is in use.
* **Admin:** Can view, create, edit, and delete appointment types.
* **Supervisor:** Can view, create, and edit appointment types, but cannot delete them.
* **Clinician:** Can view appointment types and open type details, but cannot create, edit, or delete.
* **Basic:** Cannot open **Appointment library**.

## What you can do here

* Search the library for an appointment type.
* Review the **Title** and **Specialty type** columns.
* Add a new appointment type.
* Edit an existing appointment type.
* Delete an appointment type when it is not already in use.

## Before you start

* You must be signed in to Compassly.
* You must be able to open **Appointments** > **Appointment library**.
* Deleting an appointment type requires permission and password confirmation.
