* In the Program data section of the page, input options from the dropdown will be filtered based on selections made in the preceding fields. For example, A *Domain* field input of "Basic Living Skills" might only allow for a *Subdomain* field selection like "Daily Living Skills", which in turn would limit the options available for the *Target skill name* field to things like "Chores" or "Handwashing". You would not be able to select a Target Skill like "Imitation: Kicking", which be found under a "Motor Skills" Domain. It is important to double check what Domains/Subdomains your Target Skill lies under to avoid creating duplicates or filing misinformed requests for new records to be added to the Program Library.
* For the Baseline information fields, you have the option of filling out two different data sets: Automatic, and Manual. Please consult your BCBAs for guidance on when to use what data set.
* For Date fields, such as *Baseline date range*, there will be a small icon on the right side of the input box that looks like a calendar with an even smaller analog clock image on it's bottom right corner. Clicking into this kind of input field should trigger a calendar display. Consult the reference image below for instructions on how to navigate this calendar to select the date you want.

* There is an option to add a personal description of the particular details surrounding the Program you are trying to create. Simply click on the "Add description" button located near the top of the page (Left or right depending on the Add new program page you are on), and you will generate two new fields (*Title*, and *Description*) that you can fill out to describe issues and goals in greater detail.
* If a change is made to any of the input fields, clicking the "Cancel" button will generate a dialog box to confirm that you want to back out without saving your changes.
* Hitting the "Cancel" button when no changes have been made will also not trigger the dialog box for confirmation.

* After all input fields have been filled out, click the "Apply" button to save your new Client Program. A notification should pop up in the bottom left corner of the page to confirm your success.

## Notes

* If an input field title, such as *Baseline period*, has a small icon (the letter "i" in the center of a circle) next to it, you can hover over this icon to see additional details in the form of a tooltip. Please reference these info tooltips first if you have any questions concerning a field where they are present.
* Creating a new Client Program does **NOT** create a new record for anything in the Program Library (i.e. Domain, Subdomain, Target Skill).
* When the *Clients* field is present on the Add new program page, multiple Clients can be selected to add the new Program to. Instead, it creates a **client-level snapshot**. As such, future edits to Programs created this way due not effect the foundational records from the Program Library used in the creation.
* If the *DCM type* field is not filled out, the Baseline information fields will not be available for input.
* In this workflow, the *Target skill name* field is a dropdown with selections from the Program Library. For information on how to create a Client Program without using data the Program Library, consult guide page [Add New Program](/compassly-docs/core-modules/clients/programs/add-new-program.md).

## Role Differences

* ***Super Admin / Admin / Supervisor / Clinician:*** Will be able to create a new Client Program using Program Library records.
* ***Basic:*** Does not have access to create a new Client Program using Program Library records.

## Summary Of Section

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://compassly.gitbook.io/compassly-docs/core-modules/clients/programs/clone-program-from-library.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
