* For the Baseline information fields, you have the option of filling out two different data sets: Automatic, and Manual. Please consult your BCBAs for guidance on when to use what data set.
* For Date fields, such as *Baseline date range*, there will be a small icon on the right side of the input box that looks like a calendar with an even smaller analog clock image on it's bottom right corner. Clicking into this kind of input field should trigger a calendar display. Consult the reference image below for instructions on how to navigate this calendar to select the date you want.

* There is an option to add a personal description of the particular details surrounding the Program you are trying to edit. Simply click on the "Add description" button located near the top of the page (Left or right depending on the Add new program page you are on), and you will generate two new fields (*Title*, and *Description*) that you can fill out to describe issues and goals in greater detail.
* If a change is made to any of the input fields, clicking the "Cancel" button will generate a dialog box to confirm that you want to back out without saving your changes.

## Notes

* If an input field title, such as *Baseline period*, has a small icon (the letter "i" in the center of a circle) next to it, you can hover over this icon to see additional details in the form of a tooltip. Please reference these info tooltips first if you have any questions concerning a field where they are present.
* Editing a Client Program does **NOT** edit a record for anything in the Program Library (i.e. Domain, Subdomain, Target Skill). It will only alter the Client Program record.
* If observations have begun on a Program, then you will no longer be able to switch between "Automatic" and "Manual" Baseline Information data sets. Additionally, you will no longer be able to edit the *Baseline period*, *Baseline date range*, and *Baseline value* fields.
* *Baseline value* under "Automatic" Baseline Information data sets will not be directly editable, but rather will be calculated based on the Baseline period and data garnered from obeservations.

## Role Differences

* ***Super Admin / Admin / Supervisor / Clinician:*** Will be able to edit Client Programs.
* ***Basic:*** Does not have access to edit Client Programs.
*

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://compassly.gitbook.io/compassly-docs/core-modules/clients/programs/edit-program.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
