# View Medication List

## Purpose

Use this page to review the medication records stored in the Medication library.

## Before you start

Before viewing the medication list, confirm the following:

* You can open **Medications → Medication library**.
* The dataset dropdown is set to **Medications**.

## How to get there

1. Sign in to Compassly.
2. Select **Medications** in the left navigation.
3. Select **Medication library**.
4. In the upper-right corner, confirm the dropdown is set to **Medications**.

## Steps

1. Review the table of medication records.
2. Use the search bar to locate a medication by name.
3. Use filters or pagination controls as needed to narrow or browse the list.
4. Open the row action menu or select a medication record when you need to view details or perform another available action.

## Role differences

* **Super Admin / Admin / Supervisor / Clinician:** Can view the medication list.
* **Basic:** Does not have access to the Medication library list.

## What happens next

After you locate the medication you need, continue to the related guide to view details, edit the record, or manage it in another workflow.
