# Daily Support Summaries

**Audience:** Super Admin, Admin, Supervisor, Clinician, Basic\
**Page type:** Task guide\
**Owner:** Product / Training / Support\
**Status:** Verified\
**Last verified:** 2026-04-06

## Purpose

Generate a **Daily support summary** report for one client and one date range.

## Before you start

* You must have permission to generate reports.
* You must be on the **Reports** page.
* Matching daily support summary data must exist for the selected client, team members, and date range.

## Role differences

* **Super Admin, Admin, Supervisor, Clinician, Basic:** Can generate the report.
* Download actions after the report is generated may vary by role.

## Steps

1. In **Report**, select **Daily support summary**.
2. In **Client**, select one client.
3. In **Period**, select the date range.
4. In **Team members**, select one or more team members.
5. Select **Apply**.

## What happens if there is no data

If no daily support summaries match the selected filters, Compassly shows a no-data message instead of a report list.

## What the generated report includes

When matching records exist, Compassly shows a list of summaries directly below the report options. For each entry, you can review:

* the summary title
* the date
* the download action

## What happens next

After you generate the report, the summary list appears on the same page. You can then preview or download an individual summary, or download multiple summaries when available.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://compassly.gitbook.io/compassly-docs/core-modules/reports/generate-daily-support-summary-report.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
